The NV (2018) Brut Nature Intuition is a rich, heady wine. There's gorgeous textural depth and resonance behind this Pinot Meunier-driven blend from vineyards in throughout the Montagne de Reims, Massif de St. Thierry et de la Vallée de l'Ardre. This is a terrific wine for the year. Lemon confit, chamomile, wild flowers and tangerine peel. Bright acids and strong floral inflections add tons of freshness throughout. Disgorged last year, the latest rendition of Lamblot's NV Brut Nature Intuition Nature is based on the 2019 vintage, and it represents a step up from its 2018 predecessor. Offering up aromas of crisp orchard fruit, bread dough, warm spices and toasted nuts, it's medium to full-bodied, with a pillowy attack that segues into a fleshy, elegantly vinous and nicely concentrated mid-palate that's framed by chalky dry extract. - WA
